VNF partners with Techkem Chemicals and Green Eye Environmental to Develop and Distribute Chitosan Products for Water Treatment

💧💧 Water treatment plays a crucial role in preserving this valuable resource and ensuring sustainability for both the environment and humans. At VNF, we recognize the importance of researching and developing effective and sustainable water treatment solutions.
🌍 Chitosan, a natural biopolymer derived from shrimp shells and its derivatives, is widely known for its excellent properties. Its largest application worldwide is in water treatment, where chitosan can effectively remove impurities and pollutants during the treatment process. This versatile polymer serves as a green, natural, and sustainable alternative to conventional chemicals (such as Poly Aluminum Chloride – PAC), with equal or even better efficiency in water treatment, while mitigating the negative impacts associated with synthetic chemicals.
🤝 With our commitment and relentless effort, we are happy to share that VNF signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Techkem Chemicals and Green Eye Environmental on THE DEVELOPMENT & DISTRIBUTION OF CHITOSAN PRODUCTS FOR WATER TREATMENT.
▶ Techkem Chemicals Sdn. Bhd. (David Ng Kam Meng – CEO) is a Malaysia-based leading provider of water treatment solutions, specializing in process and specialty chemicals, with extensive experience in the field.
▶ Green Eye Environmental Co, Ltd. (Green Eye Environment – GREE) is a branch of the KWI Group in Vietnam, that specializes in consulting, designing, and implementing water treatment facilities and has long-term local expertise in treating water from different industries.
🔥 We believe that this collaboration will bring forth high-quality, reliable, and environmentally friendly chitosan products with excellent functions for both wastewater and water treatment applications. We are striving to explore multiple ways to co-develop chitosan products and promote their applications in advanced water treatment technologies to provide an efficient and sustainable treatment solution for industries and households.
🙂 We are excited about the potential and prospects of this collaboration. For VNF, this partnership marks a significant milestone in our journey to elevate ‘ingredients from shrimp by-products’ into active ingredients applicable across various industries, and then contribute to promoting sustainability and the circular economy.
